On February 2, we celebrate the Presentation of the Lord, also known as Candlemas. This is as good a time as any to have pancakes for dinner, and Peanut Butter & Grace has a recipe for both the pancakes (yum!) and the discussion that goes along with this feast day.
My cool find of the week: Catholic Brain. (With a name like that, what’s not to love?) It’s full of resources for teaching Catholic kids, whether you’re an educator by profession or by vocation. 😉 If you’re not sure, try it for 14 days and see what you think.
With Lent just over a month away, it’s a good time to think ahead and maybe do some planning.
One thing I always intend to get better at is Confession. Lent’s a great time to address this, and one tool I am going to try to use this year with my kids is this daily examen. I love that there’s a PDF available of it.
